SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 30

Requesting the division of highways to conduct a feasibility
study for the upgrading of the Spring Valley Bridge in Wayne
County.
Whereas, The Spring Valley Bridge in Wayne County, West
Virginia, connecting U.S. Route 60 with Spring Valley Road, is a
vital link to the Spring Valley residents, the Veterans
Administration Center and the Northern Wayne Vocational Technical
Center; and
Whereas, The present condition of the Spring Valley Bridge
is in an extreme state of disrepair; and
Whereas, The upgrading of the Spring Valley Bridge would
greatly enhance the ability of the residents to improve their
economic stability, community growth and educational enhancement
for the area; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby requests the division of highways to
conduct a feasibility study for the upgrading of the Spring
Valley Bridge in Wayne County for the improvement of the economic
stability, community growth and educational enhancement; and, be
it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the the governor of thestate of West Virginia and the director of the division of
highways.
